Amidst the celebration of his recent success, the Mohanlal-starrer Oppam, director Priyadarshan has confirmed that after a break of three years from Bollywood, he is coming back with a project. The film will star Akshay Kumar in the lead role.
The director, who last wore his director’s hat in Bollywood for Rangrezz starring Jackky Bhagnani, is working on a family entertainer, which will be produced by Rohit Shetty. Reportedly, the 59-year-old director said that the film will be on the lines of the hilarious comedies the director-actor duo has done together in the past.
The duo of Akshay- Priyadarshan has given quite a many hits together among which are Hera Pheri, Bhagam Bhag, De Dana Dan, Garam Masala and Bhool Bhulaiyya are just a few.
With Oppam marking 90th film of the National Award-winning director, Priyadarshan is reportedly aiming to make a century soon, which he claims to be one of his dreams.
